To increase the distance at which remote-controlled vehicles can be controlled, relay-controlled communication can be installed both inside and outside of buildings.

Inside buildings, the relay station on a tracked plattform follows the advancing manipulator vehicles and provides safe communication to the control centre either by radio-control or by cable.

For operations outdoors a 34-meter high telescopic mast is available mounted on a four-wheel drive HGV to support the radio link between the tracked plattform and the control center.
